who would be interested in collecting a body? (work in progress 2024-2025)

In a society where the super-rich enjoy celebrity and status, where social concern is turned towards a privately funded space race, all while “women’s” health issues such as endometriosis are misunderstood or misdiagnosed, it feels important to create a space for serious reflection on how the indulgent phenomenon of collecting amounts to resource-hoarding. This work explores the way bodies are consumed and preserved by those in positions of power. In contrast to the rapid advancements of technology and efficiency in our daily lives, the work also raises questions about how these developments alienate us from our own bodies.
